The Science Center

Since it was a long weekend, we had decided to take a family trip to Gatlinburg, TN. It's only about four hours from where we live and we always have a lot of fun there. But when Friday rolled around and we started getting ready to pack and head out the door, I just couldn't do it. I couldn't take Handsome that far away from his doctors, just in case something happened. So, we stayed home!

We still wanted to do something fun with the kids and we had always planned on visiting the science center in Nashville. We just never got around to it.

Well, on Saturday, we finally got around to it. We made our way to Nashville that morning and stood in the very long line waiting to enter the science center. While we did have a lot of fun, I was a bit disappointed. From all the reviews I read about the place, I was expecting a lot more. But like I said, we still had a lot of fun. And the best part of all... LB got to meet R2D2! How cool is that!
