Welcome Home Wednesday Wardrobe

One of my favorite things about being an army wife, is homecoming! I hate deployments, don't get me wrong. But I love everything about my husband coming home! The butterflies in my stomach. The anxiety. The planning. The thrill of getting to know each other again, of sharing our first kiss in months, our first embrace. It's an amazing feeling. I love getting the house ready. Making that special trip to the grocery store to restock his favorite foods. I love painting welcome home signs with the kids and, like most women, I LOVE shopping for that perfect outfit. The outfit that I get to wear the day my husband falls in love with me all over again. 

Since, I won't get to plan a Homecoming Outfit anytime soon, I thought I would start a new series on the blog, Welcome Home Wednesday Wardrobe, where I can share with you all ideas for perfect homecoming outfits. I like to think that after three of them, I'm sort of an expert on what to wear and what not to wear. Although, that's probably not the case since I still find myself slipping into very uncomfortable heels each time my husband comes home. :D

I thought I would start Wednesday Wardrobe off with something patriotic! I found this on pinterest and fell in love with it. It's probably a bit more formal for my taste, but it's still casual enough that you wouldn't look out of place. And while I love the shoes, I'd probably wear flats until the plane or bus came in and then switch into the heels!
