My children have the best teachers and we really wanted to give something to them after everything they give to us, but with tight budgets, we had to come up with something we could make for a cheap price. So, I searched and searched on pinterest and I found these cute little post it note holders on etsy for $6 and I thought to myself, HEY I could make 3 of those for under $6! Then I googled tutorials for it, just to make sure I had the right idea about how to make it and found a couple blogs with tutorials, like the one over at Violet Paper Wings. The kids worked on these last night with a little help from me and I think their teachers will adore them.

materials:
plastic 5x7 photo holders (walmart $.97 x3)
a pack a scrapbook paper (walmart $1.00)
post it notes (walmart $1.52)
ribbon (my scrap stash)
mod podge or glue
cut scrapbook paper into a 5x7 and stick in the frame
decorate the frame with your teacher's name and add ribbon
stick your post it notes on there and you are good to go!
the whole project cost me roughly $5.50
