This summer, I plan on walking, at least, 100 miles! I would run it, but ha I can't even run to the end of my driveway without becoming short of breath, so walking will have to do... maybe next year I'll be in better shape and I can repeat this substituting walking with running!
I know 100 miles over the course of 3 months, doesn't seem like much, BUT, I'm a busy mama and I'm slowly trying to adjust my daily schedule for fitness, so I think 100 is a good goal for me this summer.
I urge all my friends to participate! I think it would be totally awesome to have a mini competition... see who finishes their 100 miles first. Anyone else game?
I made a poster on canvas paper a couple nights ago to keep track of my progress. I may be a pretty crafty lady, but when it comes to drawing, I sort of... well... suck! so don't laugh at my lack of art skills.
I really wish I was more artsy, so I could decorate it more... :(
But anyway, I drew a track! and added little marks for each mile. I ended my track with a finish line! AND a blank space to add a reward for finishing my 100 miles.
Once I figure out what I to reward myself with I will totally let you all know and I plan on keeping you posted on my progress.

P.S. I soooo stole this idea from pinterest, so don't assume I'm this creative when it comes to getting fit.
