I got my hair done over the weekend and I'm so happy with it I had to share! I've been a blonde for 12 years! Only going back my natural color during pregnancies, but after my last pregnancy, I just couldn't find the time to go get my hair done. My roots had grown out tremendously. My ends were in desperate need of a trim. And my hair was begging for color!
My friend, Amy, just happens to be a hair stylist and volunteered to give me a hair make over. Going to a hair salon is just not practical with Handsome, LB, and Doc at home during the week and Handsome requiring so much medical attention, so the fact that Amy was willing to come to my house to do my hair was PERFECT!
And we both decided that it was time to try something different!
I'd been a blonde for so long that seeing myself with dark hair felt alien, but I was ready to go back to my root... literally. And with the kids, the blonde hair was becoming too difficult to maintain (as you can clearly see in the before photos below). We went with a mahogany brown with blonde highlights underneath. I'm beyond ecstatic about my new hair!
