M and I finished 4.5 weeks of C25K. That means we are halfway done with the program! I must say if you aren't a runner and want to be, try this program! Four weeks ago, I felt like I was going to pass out and was gasping for air just from doing a 60 second jog, but this week... We ran over five minutes! Did it hurt? Yes. Did I want to stop? Oh heavens, yes! But I pushed through! I finished! And I think I'm almost ready for week 5.
I mentioned last week that M and I are doing a 5k at the end of the program and I find myself more and more excited about it everyday. I always said running wasn't for me, but I made the choice to MAKE running my thing and I may complain with every step I take, but I feel so accomplished when it's done.
The picture above is us on day one of C25K and then the one on the right is us at the halfway mark. Not only do we feel better, but I think we look better too! :D
