So it's officially been one month since Husband was discharged from the United States Army. I have been waiting nine years to say, "my husband is a civilian!" It's not that I have anything against the military. It just didn't work for us. After his discharge, we moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, which in reality is where we have pretty much lived the last 4 years, anyway. I think we expected things to "feel different" after he got out, but so far, life is still pretty much the same. He just doesn't have to shave!
A lot of friends and family ask me how it feels now that he's out and I don't really know how to answer that. I guess, I'm not the one who was in the military, so my life didn't really change any. I mean, I don't have to deal with deployments anymore or being told where I can live. But other then that, my days are the same ole same ole.
I will say, though, Husband is happier! And that makes me happier.
